This role combines team leadership, technical ownership, and product innovation, with a strong focus on modern engineering practices and AI-enabled development. You'll help shape the future of scheduling while driving delivery, mentoring engineers, and modernizing a business-critical platform. What You'll DoLead team planning, prioritization, and delivery. Coach and develop engineers while fostering a high-performing team culture. Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions. Drive the technical direction of the scheduling platform. Modernize and improve enterprise applications without disrupting business operations. Champion AI-assisted development practices across the software development lifecycle. Help deliver intelligent scheduling experiences, including conversational booking and smart recommendations. Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience leading software engineering teams while remaining technically hands-on. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern web applications using React and/or Angular. Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale systems. Solid understanding of relational databases, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Experience modernizing mature applications and improving development efficiency. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Must be based in the United States and able to travel occasionally.Preferred QualificationsExperience with scheduling, calendaring, or resource optimization systems. Deep knowledge of SQL, APIs, and enterprise integrations. Experience in financial services, healthcare, retail, or other regulated industries.
