Our massive fleet of dump and ready-mix trucks serves thousands of job sites every year. In addition, our concrete and asphalt paving divisions, along with our various other crews, complete hundreds of projects every season. Manatt's has an opening for a Diesel Mechanic at our Ankeny location. Responsibilities Perform work duties safely without creating potential risk to others. Ability to work in a highly rewarding team environment. Willingness to continually learn new skills and techniques to improve skill set and proficiency. Perform routine preventive maintenance and thorough high-quality inspections on a wide range of equipment. Preform troubleshooting and diagnostics of issues found on inspections in a timely manner. Provide accurate consultation on repair solutions. Provide high quality mechanical repairs in a timely manner. Utilize OEM diagnostic software to assist with proper repair completion on equipment and heavy trucks. Consistently complete accurate work orders electronically. Qualifications Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical. Class A or B CDL Preferred Legally eligible to work in the United States. Must have own basic hand tools. Must have acceptable driving record. Strong communication skills, analytical and basic computer skills required. Availability to work overtime on an as needed basis.
