Are you passionate about making a difference for students through comprehensive psychological support and assessment? This contract opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year is designed for a skilled School Psychologist interested in working on-site within a welcoming district near Portland, MI. You'll have the chance to collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to improve student outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology required
  • Current approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education
  • Experience providing psychological services in a school setting highly preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
  • Genuine commitment to supporting students from preschool through 12th grade

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver school-based psychological services, including assessments, consultations, and interventions
  • Complete special education evaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with requirements and timelines
  • Adjust roles and responsibilities as needed based on district needs and caseload
  • Support a positive and inclusive school environment

This role is an on-site position, offering the opportunity to work directly with students and staff at various locations within the district. You’ll be scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, with one position available for the 2026–2027 academic year.
