Informatics Policy Analyst

Supporting healthcare information management decision-making, the full-time remote Informatics Policy Analyst will apply process modeling and policy analysis techniques to evaluate existing policies, identify gaps, and develop frameworks for program implementation and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Formulate and apply process modeling methods to interpret complex health informatics policy environments Collect and analyze existing federal and agency-level policies to support technology solutions and business requirements Conduct gap analyses of policies to identify operational needs and barriers to standardization across health IT programs Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Health Policy, Health Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in policy analysis or organizational management analysis in healthcare or health IT Proficiency with process modeling and workflow documentation methods (e.g., BPMN, flowcharting) Experience conducting policy gap analyses and translating findings into actionable recommendations Familiarity with the federal health IT policy landscape
