POLICY PROGRAM SENIOR ANALYSTWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?As part of the Policy Governance Office, this position is responsible for active administration and oversight in governance documentation which encompass Frameworks, Policies, Standards, and Procedures for CNB, including administration and migration efforts of the centralized repository of governance documentation at the Bank and providing support on policy practices to the Business Lines as appropriate, and for meeting RBC Enterprise Policy on Policy Management requirements.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Ensuring assigned policies and procedures are up-to-date and published to the centralized CNB policy libraryConduct performance of QC process on new or refreshed policies to ensure proper format and structure and alignment with the Policy requirementsAd hoc consultation and support to document owners to execute updates to documents. Processing of policy management request (e.g., policy retirement, creation, and amendment requests)Facilitate ongoing policy rationalization efforts across the bank, including identifying overlap and conflictsSupport automation and streamlining PGO’s technology and processes (e.g., Python, SharePoint, VBA, Power BI, Power Automate) Provide support on ad hoc activities as related to the mandate of Policy Governance OfficeEstablish credibility and organizational trust to cultivate and inspire a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement with a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Required Qualifications*Bachelor's Degree or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in documentation or preparation of technical materials, executive presentations, project managementMinimum 5 years of experience in banking environment or risk management consulting or financial services industry in risk related rolesMinimum 5 years of Advanced level experience in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPointAdditional QualificationsPrefer 7+ years of experience in documentation or preparation of technical materials, executive presentations, project managementKnowledge of OCC Heightened Standards requirements preferredKnowledge of procedural tracking packages and other related programs preferredProficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, SharePoint.Strong project management experience.Demonstrated ability to think critically and facilitate change through collaborative effort. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Self-motivation, discipline, task focus, the ability to structure and present work and a proven record of delivering high quality results within strict deadlines.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?CompensationStarting base salary: $70,000 - $130,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
