Lantern is trusted by the nation's largest employers to deliver care to more than 6 million members across the country.Job OverviewThe ONN serves as a dedicated clinical partner for members navigating a cancer diagnosis, providing personalized education, care coordination, and ongoing support throughout the treatment and survivorship journey.Shift: Monday - Friday - 9-5pm CST (10-6pm EST)ResponsibilitiesManage a full, active caseload of members with cancer diagnoses, providing individualized navigation, education, and clinical support from diagnosis through survivorship.Conduct comprehensive oncology intake assessments to establish member needs, goals, and care priorities.Educate members and families on diagnosis, treatment options, clinical pathways, and available resources using evidence-based, NCCN-aligned and ONCC-aligned guidance.Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating communication between members, treating providers, and the broader LCC team.Identify and address barriers to care including psychosocial, financial, and logistical needs; connect members with appropriate support resources.Complete accurate, timely documentation of all member interactions and clinical activities within Lantern's care management platform.Complete all outreach, follow-ups, and care coordination tasks within defined timeframes.Participate in call auditing processes and consistently apply feedback to maintain and improve quality of care delivery.Collaborate closely with the Lead ONN, LCSWs, Medical Records Specialists, Care Advocates, and cross-functional partners.Contribute to team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.Adhere to Lantern workflows, clinical protocols, and documentation standards at all times.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)Active RN license in a compact state with unencumbered ability to be licensed in all 50 statesMinimum 3 years of oncology nursing experienceActive ONCC certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN), Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON), or Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN) with unencumbered ability to maintain certification throughout employmentProficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with NCCN guidelines and ClinicalTrials.govAbility to work independently in a hybrid environment; must be Dallas or New York area based.Strong Candidates Will:Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and deep knowledge of oncology diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship careCommunicate with empathy, cultural competence, and clinical precision in all member-facing interactionsBe detail-oriented and disciplined in documentation, follow-through, and quality standardsMaintain a full, balanced caseload while meeting all productivity and quality expectationsThrive in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment and adapt readily to frequent process changesWork effectively as part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teamApproach complex or ambiguous clinical situations with sound independent judgmentDemonstrate a genuine commitment to equitable, member-centered care across a diverse oncology populationBenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityLife Insurance401k with company matchPaid Time OffPaid Parental LeaveBudget: $90,000 base-$105,000 base + bonus (depends on location/level/relevant experience)About You:You use LOGIC in your decision making and understand that progress is critical to making change.
