Senior Accounting Analyst

Kforce's client is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst that will work out of their Reading, PA office. This role is Monday-Friday - hybrid (in office 4 days a week). Responsibilitites:
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare/review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
- Support audit requests and provide documentation to external auditors
- Assist with technical accounting matters (ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting)
- Support financial reporting and consolidation activities
- Analyze account activity, research discrepancies, and identify process improvements
- Utilize Excel for reporting and analysis (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs) and learn proprietary systems
- 5+ years of accounting experience (willing to look at someone with 4 years but must have strong technical accounting experience)
- Strong revenue recognition experience (ASC 606 preferred)
- Contract review experience
- Experience determining gross vs. net revenue
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables)
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power Query and Tableau
