JOB TITLE: Payment Processor

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for evaluating claims to ensure data integrity before processing within our secure member portal.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works to build credible, trusted relationships with our clients and customers.
• Promptly responds to questions and requests for information from Members.
• Supports our ticket system to ensure member payments are processed properly and efficiently.
• Supports the claims adjudication, HRA, and member support departments as required.
• Establishes a working relationship with billing providers, members, and internal staff.
• Develops and implements process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce reliance on paper processes, and enhance the use of existing technology.
• Assists members on any related dispute/issue as authorized.
• Performs various administrative tasks as required.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Other skills required : 
  • College degree or comparable work experience required.
