Certified Medical Coding Instructor

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Instructor to train students in Medical Coding through a remote, part-time position. Key Responsibilities Review and manage courses and exams, providing innovative content coaching Assist students through tutoring appointments and online messaging via the LMS Collaborate with the Curriculum Department to conduct Academic Reviews and ensure content relevance Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or a closely related field At least 5 years of full-time work experience in the Medical Coding field Knowledge and experience with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Degree must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or equivalent
