Overview
We are seeking experienced extrusion operators for a manufacturing factory in Humble, TX. Successful candidates will have experience in operating extrusion machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and have an understanding of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor extrusion manufacturing machinery
* Set up equipment to ensure precise operation.
* Perform routine inspections and quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
* Adjust machine parameters and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic issues to maintain optimal production flow.
* Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling tools; assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
* Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine settings, and quality data.
* Follow safety protocols diligently and ensure all equipment is operated in compliance with OSHA standards
* Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Experience :
* Proven factory experience operating extrusion manufacturing machinery in a fast-paced environment.
* Hands-on knowledge of extrusion machine operation and troubleshooting.
* Familiarity with metal manufacturing and fabrication machinery is a plus.
* Bilingual, English / Spanish is a plus, but not required. Spanish only is OK
* Overhead crane operation experience is a plus.
* Experience with blueprint reading and technical drawings.
* Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing and fabrication tools
* Proficiency in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
* Previous warehouse or materials handling experience preferred for efficient inventory management.
