Benefits Base salary range: $120,000 to $225,000 (DOE) + structured performance‑based bonuses — up to $300,000 total compensation Quarterly bonus cadence tied to billable hours, originations, and collections Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match Generous PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays Remote from anywhere in California or hybrid in Pasadena — your call Job Details Defend employers across the full spectrum of employment litigation — wage and hour, PAGA, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination Handle matters from inception through resolution: pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation Advise employer clients on compliance with California and federal labor and employment laws Draft policies, handbooks, and employment agreements to reduce litigation exposure Collaborate with firm attorneys on cross‑practice matters with an employment dimension Qualifications Active California bar license Minimum 3 years of defense‑side employment law experience Strong PAGA case handling background Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently and deliver practical compliance counsel Preferred Experience Wage and Hour Defense PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) Wrongful Termination Discrimination and Retaliation Defense Employment Compliance and Handbook Drafting Labor and Employment Law (CA and Federal) Class Action Defense Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
