Designs, builds, manages, and implements enterprise infrastructure technologies to enable scalable, secure, resilient, and reliable business operations. As a Senior Infrastructure Solutions Engineer, this is a hands-on engineering role responsible for designing, automating, validating, and continuously improving infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role combines broad enterprise infrastructure knowledge with deep capability in automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, troubleshooting, resiliency, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.

The engineer partners with infrastructure product teams, architects, application teams, reliability engineers, operations, security, and service-management teams to translate business, technical, and non-functional requirements into reusable, version-controlled, documented, and supportable engineering patterns. This includes embedding availability, recoverability, performance, scalability, observability, security, and supportability requirements into infrastructure designs and delivery practices.

The role develops and maintains automation using Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Python, Linux, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. It contributes to engineering controls for testing, peer review, release, and promotion across environments and supports the development of reusable modules, playbooks, scripts, pipeline integrations, and automated remediation.

The engineer builds and improves operational telemetry using Splunk, Dynatrace, and related observability platforms, including searches, dashboards, alerts, event correlation, dependency analysis, and service-health views. The role designs and validates high-availability, failover, disaster-recovery, and recovery-testing approaches, including automated recovery validation where appropriate.

This position leads troubleshooting and resolution of complex infrastructure issues, performs root-cause and performance analysis, and implements corrective, preventive, and automated remediation. The engineer contributes technical expertise to design reviews, build-readiness reviews, operational-readiness reviews, and production-readiness activities; leads complex technical work; communicates recommendations to technical and senior stakeholders; and provides technical guidance that advances engineering standards, resiliency, supportability, and infrastructure reliability.

2. Designs, builds, manages, and implements enterprise infrastructure technology platforms and systems across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains.
3. Develops and applies automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure.
4. Manages large infrastructure projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements.
5. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to integrate new technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes.
6. Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability.
7. Ensures compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
8. Reviews infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
9. Provides strong technical guidance, training, and direction to infrastructure teams and lower-level technical professionals.
10. Demonstrates innovative influence with stakeholders in supporting business objectives and technical strategic objectives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
2. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
3. Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong experience in Automation and Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, Python, Linux, and Git-based workflows.

2. Experience in Resiliency and Disaster Recovery Engineering, including high-availability design, failover architecture, recovery validation, disaster recovery testing, dependency analysis, operational readiness, and recovery objective planning.

3. Hands-on experience with Observability Engineering platforms including Splunk (SPL, dashboards, alerts, and event correlation), Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics, or equivalent monitoring technologies.

4. Experience integrating infrastructure engineering with DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Harness, GitOps, Argo CD, or comparable delivery platforms.

5. Experience administering or troubleshooting OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, including cluster operations, networking, storage, container services, and cloud-native technologies.

6. Demonstrated experience in Incident Engineering, including complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, corrective action planning, and automated remediation.

7. Broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure domains, including compute, operating systems, virtualization, networking, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, storage, backup and recovery, middleware, messaging, and cloud platforms.

8. Experience working with integration and service management technologies including ServiceNow, MuleSoft, APIs, IBM MQ, Kafka, or similar enterprise platforms.

9. Experience implementing security, compliance, and governance controls, including vulnerability remediation, secrets management, role-based access controls, infrastructure hardening, policy enforcement, and engineering standards within regulated environments.

10. Experience in the financial services industry and industry certifications related to cloud, infrastructure, automation, platform engineering, reliability engineering, or cybersecurity are strongly preferred. Certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISM, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Red Hat, or comparable credentials are beneficial.
