About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year circulating experience in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery. License: State or Compact license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Strong orthopedic experience. Description: Must be able to circulate in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery. Experience with charting in Epic is required. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Must have strong skills in various surgical procedures. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 15 to 18 patients with 5 visits per day. The unit operates with 6 rooms. Understanding and adherence to universal protocols are essential. Knowledge in infection control, fire safety, and specimen handling is required. Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations is necessary. Candidates will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 1:1.
