Job Summary:

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Manufacturing Dispense Operator I to support planar sensor manufacturing operations in Waltham, MA. This role is responsible for performing medium- to high-complexity dispense operations to produce a variety of planar-based biosensors for core analyzers. Using automated and hand dispensers, the operator will apply various chemistries to ISE sensors. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and stand for most hours of the workday.

Responsibilities:

• Work with various epoxies, solvents, and chemicals as required during manufacturing.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout all aspects of the manufacturing process.
• Work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
• Understand and follow assembly procedures, operating instructions, verbal instructions, and related documentation to assemble various products
• Communicate issues clearly to management and engineering.
• Perform additional functions as needed, including prepping sensor cards, assembling sensor cards, UV epoxying, and packaging.
• Work alternately in seated and standing positions as required by the role.

Experience Requirements:

• High School or Trade School diploma required.
• 1–3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• GMP experience is a plus.
• Good math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• QSR/ISO regulation experience and AP, TP, OI, and OP training are a plus.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to [25–50] pounds as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, or climb as needed.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature, equipment).
• Ability to operate tools, machinery, or technical equipment.
• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

Work Location: Onsite in our Waltham facility 5 days/week (M-F)

Targeted Salary Range: $25/hour

Working Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
