Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Role Overview: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehabilitation to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities include: Assessing and modifying therapy goals, implementing treatment plans, charting progress, and utilizing therapy software. The SLP collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, helping diverse populations recover from surgeries, illnesses, or injuries. Qualifications and Skills: Must hold an accredited master's degree in speech therapy, be ASHA certified or eligible for certification, and possess an active state license. Preferred experience in post-acute care, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, and professional integrity are essential. CPR certification is required.
