Role Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standard assessments and clinical observations.
• Create tailored treatment plans that focus on immediate targets as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing rehabilitation.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and caregivers to develop integrated care approaches.
• Engage in patient and family educational programs to enhance progress beyond clinical appointments.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring consistent care throughout the recovery journey.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise documentation following state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Commit to continual learning and peer engagement to stay abreast of innovations and best practices in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successfully completed a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
