Senior Sales Director

The Role

StarCompliance is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our sales team and drive new business growth within a defined territory.

This is an opportunity for an accomplished enterprise sales professional who understands the complexities of selling technology into regulated financial institutions. You'll take ownership of the full new-logo sales cycle, building and developing a strong pipeline and working with multiple stakeholders to turn complex business and compliance challenges into compelling solutions.

You'll combine strong commercial instincts with a consultative, solution-led approach, collaborating across the business to create an efficient sales process and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

What You'll Do

• Own and manage a defined new-logo sales territory, with responsibility for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Build, grow and execute a high-quality pipeline using the full range of tools and resources available to you.
• Lead complex enterprise sales opportunities from initial engagement through to close.
• Develop a strong understanding of the compliance and regulatory challenges facing financial services organisations and translate these into relevant solutions.
• Build detailed technical and practical knowledge of the StarCompliance platform and its capabilities.
• Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes involving Compliance, Legal, Risk, IT, Procurement and other key decision-makers.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across StarCompliance to maintain an efficient, high-velocity sales process.
• Maintain excellent standards of CRM data management, forecasting and deal hygiene.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, SalesNav, and AI Tools

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced enterprise sales professional with a strong track record of winning new business in complex environments.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• At least 5 years' experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
• A demonstrable track record of achieving and growing against sales targets.
• Experience selling complex enterprise solutions into regulated financial institutions.
• Experience of SaaS sales and an understanding of SaaS industry standards and sales approaches.
• Familiarity with compliance-led buying cycles influenced by regulatory pressure, risk mitigation and audit requirements.
• Experience managing long, complex sales cycles and navigating budget scrutiny.
• Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers across functions including Compliance, Legal, Risk, IT and Procurement.
• A consultative, solution-led approach rather than a transactional sales style.
• Knowledge of established sales methodologies and playbooks.
