Compliance Assistance Project ManagerUnder limited supervision, the Compliance Assistance Project Manager manages and coordinates all tasks associated with establishing the Office of Compliance Assistance, including the implementation of IT technologies to evaluate compliance data and the development of data systems to track Voluntary Disclosures, development of guidelines and procedures, and implementation of program objectives.• Define project objectives and scope by reviewing proposals and determining timelines, funding, and phases. • Manage projects from inception through completion using standard project management methodologies. • Evaluate project risks and implement mitigation strategies. • Oversee communication plans and coordinate updates with leadership and stakeholders. • Manage procurement and participate in contract negotiations. • Monitor project deliverables, milestones, and deadlines. • Develop quality management plans, documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance. • Support project management training and workshops.• Knowledge of SCDES's mission, programs, and objectives. • Strong understanding of project management principles. • Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills. • Experience with state government procurement and fiscal processes. • Ability to interpret environmental rules and regulations.• 20 years of experience implementing South Carolina environmental programs.• Bachelor's degree with experience managing large projects of moderate complexity and risk.Expertise in statewide IT project management.
