Your role at a Glance The Senior Wholesale Manager, US will lead the commercial growth and day‑to‑day management of Avenir Collective’s wholesale business across the US, with primary responsibility for our key retail partnerships. This is a senior commercial role with ownership of retailer strategy, revenue delivery, account profitability, forecasting and trade marketing execution. You will build strong relationships with retail partners, develop joint business plans, identify opportunities to grow distribution and ensure our brands are set up to win both in‑store and online. Working closely with Demand Planning, Brand, Marketing, Finance, Wholesale Operations, Supply Chain and Creative, you will own the financial wholesale forecast for the US market and be accountable for delivering against revenue, margin and investment targets. The ideal candidate brings strong beauty industry experience, a deep understanding of the US retail landscape and ideally direct experience working with Ulta. Location and Flexibility Full‑time role based remotely in the US 40 hours per week, 9 am to 6 pm with a one‑hour lunch Key Responsibilities US Wholesale Strategy & Account Management Own and deliver the US wholesale strategy, driving profitable growth across existing and prospective retail partners. Lead strategic account relationships, including Ulta, developing joint business plans covering revenue, distribution, assortment, NPD and growth. Own commercial negotiations, including pricing, margins, promotions, investment and retailer terms. Lead range reviews, assortment optimisation and distribution expansion, proactively identifying opportunities and addressing performance risks. P&L & Financial Ownership Own the US Wholesale P&L, including revenue, gross margin, trade investment and account profitability. Set revenue targets, manage budgets and forecasts, and drive performance against commercial objectives. Partner with Finance to ensure accurate reporting, effective investment and clear visibility of risks and opportunities. Forecasting & Demand Planning Own commercial sales forecasts and assumptions across retailers, SKUs, promotions and launches. Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to align inventory with commercial activity, managing stock availability and excess inventory risks. Trade Marketing Own the US trade marketing strategy, budget and execution, including promotions, sampling, GWPs, retail media, in‑store activations, visual merchandising and retailer education. Collaborate with Brand, Marketing and Creative to deliver commercially effective, brand‑aligned activity. Measure promotional performance and ROI to optimise future investment. Retailer Launches & Execution Lead cross‑functional planning and execution of new retailer, product and distribution launches. Ensure successful retailer onboarding, operational readiness and strong execution across physical and digital channels. Monitor launch performance and drive sell‑through and expansion opportunities. Business Development & Performance Identify and secure new wholesale opportunities across retailers, distributors, travel retail and emerging channels. Develop commercial business cases, lead pitches and negotiate new partnerships. Analyse retailer performance, market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions. Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and retail partners. About you 8+ years’ experience in wholesale, key account management or commercial roles, ideally within beauty, skincare or personal care. Strong knowledge of the US beauty retail landscape, with direct experience managing Ulta highly preferred. Exposure to TV shopping channels is advantageous. Proven track record of growing major retail accounts, securing distribution and negotiating commercial agreements. Strong financial acumen, with experience owning revenue forecasts, budgets, P&Ls and account profitability. Hands‑on experience in trade marketing, including promotions, sampling, retail media and in‑store activations. Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting and inventory management. Commercially astute and analytical, with excellent relationship management, communication and negotiation skills. Comfortable working cross‑functionally and driving results in a fast‑paced, evolving business.
