Front Desk Supervisor

- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures.
- Supervise team member performance in all Front Office procedures including, but not limited to, guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, luggage assistance, telephone answering.
- Train and assist team members with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
- Present guest folios and process payments. Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
- Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments.
- Performs any other duties as requested by your manager
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A high school education or equivalent is required, with one to two years' supervisory experience in hospitality or other customer-related position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: You must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills. The ability to access, retrieve and leverage info from the hotel property management system is expected. You must also be able to handle cash or credit transactions and have Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency. General office equipment and cash register operation knowledge is expected. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
