This position reports to the Head of Facilities, based out of our Parsippany, NJ office with expected regional travel. Joining us means joining a team with specialists in acquisitions, legal, operations, and finance. Our team works hard, supports each other, shares ideas to improve, and consistently delivers results.The Impact You Will MakeProject execution from due diligence of potential sites to design, through construction execution, and transition to operationsDirectly manage multiple projects at once ranging in size from 10,000 SF to 200,000 SFTravel, including overnight, to job sites as required to the market of your responsibilityManage the adherence to the budget, timeline, and processes of the project lifecycleEnsure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans, communicate progress and challenges with stakeholders through reports and meetingsCollaborate and direct architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other specialistsHold vendors and contractors accountable to SLAs for schedule, quality, and safetyEvaluate vendor performance and drive corrective action when requiredManage project design and implementation with internal stakeholders including Production, Logistics, Engineering, Facilities, IT, FSQA, Health, Safety, Procurement, Culinary, and all others to ensure they meet their deadlines for the projectEnsure all projects meet food safety, sanitation, and production environment standards in coordination with FSQADrive internal cross collaboration with subject matter experts for fast decision making and project executionStandardize project execution processes across all sites to ensure consistency and scalabilityCapture and implement lessons learned to improve future rollout efficiencyWrite and submit inspection logs and punch lists while ensuring all local, state, and national building codes and regulations are followedNegotiate contracts with external vendors, review proposals and invoicesTrack and manage budget vs. actuals, including change order control and cost variance mitigationEnsure projects are delivered within approved capital budgetsPlan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met; evaluate and hire vendors and allocate responsibilitiesPlan and execute construction activities to minimize disruption to live operations and production environmentsIdentify schedule risks early and implement recovery plans to maintain project timelinesDrive accelerated schedules where required to meet business needsCollaborate cross functionally with facilities team for warranty and or day 2 problem solving through normalization period of restaurantEnsure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issuesManage the transition to operations phase of the project after construction completion including service contract set-ups restaurant set ups and operations training on store systemsEnsure all installed equipment and assets are properly tagged, commissioned, and integrated into Service ChannelCoordinate with Facilities to ensure PM programs, warranty tracking, and service contracts are in place at turnoverOversee equipment startup, commissioning, and validation to ensure systems are fully operational prior to handoffEnsure OEM startup, calibration, and performance validation for critical production equipmentWhat You Bring to the TableConstruction project management, multi-site, program management, experience with production facilities, cold storage and industrial kitchensExperience managing multi-site rollout programsManaging a team of external vendors, suppliers, internal team members and stakeholdersProviding live on-site field direction and or supervisionNegotiating agreements with 3rd parties including suppliers and sub-contractorsAbility to review submittals, invoices, and proposals from 3rd partiesReading and understanding of construction drawingsCreating reports and summarizing critical action items to internal teamExperience hitting time-sensitive deadlines and budgetsFamiliarity with CMMS / asset lifecycle integration (Service Channel preferred)The way you workYou operate autonomously in driving projects and stakeholders forward; acknowledge and request support or guidance when neededYou solve problems and make decisions informed by data, insights, and good judgementYou gain trust through open dialogue, collaborative problem solving, and actively seeking improvementYou are biased towards action, and speed, and work through obstacles to maintain progressYou are organized, have ability to prioritize and multi-taskYou are detailed oriented and adhere to time sensitive business milestonesWillingness to travel regionally (50%)New Jersey: $149,000-165,500 per yearWonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located.
