Overview
Occupational Therapist, General – Clearlake, California. This travel, temporary assignment starts on 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,460 to $2,527, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 5x8 days (Day shift) with hours around 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Work setting: a Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in outpatient and selective acute inpatient settings.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to improve activities of daily living, mobility, upper-extremity function, cognition, and adaptive equipment use.
- Implement treatment interventions, monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, activity modification, and effective use of assistive devices.
- Coordinate with the care team for discharge planning and appropriate follow-up referrals; ensure safe and smooth transitions of care.

Requirements
- California licensed Occupational Therapist (active)
- BLS certification
- At least two years of recent field experience
- Ability to work in outpatient and acute inpatient settings
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and state licensure requirements
- Eligibility and ability to meet the stated shift schedule and travel assignment requirements
