Talent Operations Manager

Role Overview

Lead the operational engine that activates distributed expert talent for high-velocity AI training and data operations. This remote, full-time role owns onboarding, talent activation, enterprise client success, and the systems that help large contributor cohorts deliver consistently as model and client needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

• Run large-cohort onboarding at scale with an efficient, reliable experience.
• Activate and manage distributed talent pools supporting AI training and data operations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with enterprise clients.
• Identify delivery blockers early and resolve them quickly and clearly.
• Drive customer-success outcomes across ongoing AI deployments.
• Publish concise weekly performance and milestone reports.
• Lead community syncs and engagement practices that keep operators informed and effective.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to align talent operations with changing model and client requirements.
• Use data to improve onboarding, quality assurance, and retention systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills, with a clear, structured, and direct style.
• Experience operating in remote, distributed environments.
• Demonstrated ownership, stakeholder-management, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead more than 100 contributors while maintaining clear operational visibility.
• Comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment with frequent iteration.
• Data fluency, including dashboards, KPIs, and performance diagnostics.
• Experience with large-scale onboarding is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with human data, RLHF, or AI training pipelines.
• Experience supporting enterprise AI or technical clients.
• Experience building or scaling data operations or talent operations systems.
• Familiarity with ATS, analytics, project operations, and automation tools.

Work Terms

Compensation and Benefits

• The listing states compensation of $70, 000 to $110, 000 annually. It also states a national base-salary range of $50, 000 to $70, 000 USD.
• Employees are eligible for equity compensation and may receive performance-based bonuses, depending on role and company policy.
