About the Role The Medical Records Clerk supports health-information management, records requests, and documentation accuracy at our procedure center and clinic. This role is based at our Dakota Dunes, SD location. Key Responsibilities Process release-of-information (ROI) requests from providers, facilities, and authorized requestors. Scan, index, and file documents into the electronic health record. Maintain chart accuracy and completeness. Track and route incoming records to the correct location and staff. Support referral and prior-authorization documentation. Retrieve records for audits, care coordination, and billing or legal requests. Uphold record-retention and confidentiality standards. Respond to records inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Qualifications Health-information, medical-records, or medical-office experience preferred Familiarity with electronic health records (eClinicalWorks a plus) Strong attention to detail and organization Working knowledge of HIPAA and records-confidentiality practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
