Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners in a dynamic PreK-4 school setting near Jewett City, CT. This full-time position is available for an immediate start, offering the chance to make an impact through speech-language services for preschool and early elementary students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP license required
- CT teaching certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads highly valued
- Skilled in assessments, intervention planning, and direct therapy for speech, language, and communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy for PreK-4 students
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
- Maintain clear documentation and comply with educational and ethical standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and recommendations
- Offer guidance and resources to support communication development within the school community
