Job Summary

Beyond Care Management Services Inc. (BCM) is seeking dependable, compassionate, and flexible On-Call Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This position is specifically designed to provide on-call, relief, and supplemental coverage based on the needs of BCM clients. On-Call DSPs may be contacted when coverage becomes available due to staff absences, schedule changes, new client assignments, temporary coverage needs, or other service needs.

This is an on-call/as-needed position and does not guarantee a set number of hours or a consistent weekly schedule. Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible schedule and understand that available hours may vary from week to week.

Responsibilities 

• Requires travel to the individual’s home, health-related appointments, and community activities; mileage reimbursement available
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, 
• Prepare meals and snacks, menu planning
• Light housekeeping activities
• May assist with medication
• Community resource awareness and assistance
• Assist with errands, shopping, and health-related appointments

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable, insured vehicle
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
• First aid and CPR-certified
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical

*When BCM offers an available assignment, the employee may accept or decline based on their availability. Once an assignment is accepted, however, the employee is expected to honor that commitment and follow BCM's attendance and call-out procedures.
