Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse - $1,970 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/26/2026 Duration: 12 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel We're looking for Medical Surgical RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Billings, MT. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements. Responsibilities Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients. Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment. Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs. Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient. Educate patients on surgical procedures. Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician. Medical Surgical Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. RNs will work in a fast‑paced environment treating patients that may be confused, agitated, and/or uncooperative. Qualifications BLS, ACLS, 2 Years experience * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
