Float Phlebotomist- Casual
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a casual phlebotomist for patient service centers or client offices in Burien, Washington. The role involves specimen collection, patient interaction, data entry, and administrative tasks across varying weekday and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specialized specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing and collect payments as required
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide customer service
Requirements
- Valid Washington phlebotomy license or filed application at time of hire
- Previous phlebotomist experience
- Exceptional customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Flexible availability including overtime and rotating weekends
