Under general supervision, the Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and vendors within Vinson Hall. This position provides exceptional customer service, supports resident engagement, coordinates communications, and helps ensure a welcoming, safe, and professional environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, health care, senior living or front desk operations preferred. Experience working with older adults and individuals with dementia preferred. Excellent verbal and communication skills required Strong organizational and multitasking skills required. Proficiency with computers, phone systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Summary Greet residents, family members, visitors, and prospective residents in a warm and professional manner. Answers and routes incoming telephone calls, using a pleasant, courteous, and professional vocal modulation. Ensures messages are correctly taken and delivers such messages in a timely manner. Resolve routine issues independently and escalates complex situations to Concierge Supervisor when necessary. Manage visitor sign-in procedures Manager key sign in/out procedures. Assist residents with general requests, questions, and community information. Assist residents with courtesy vehicle reservations, maintenance requests, and activity registration. Receive and distribute mail, packages and deliveries. Serve as a communication liaison between residents, families, and community departments. Demonstrate sensitivity and understanding when interacting with residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities, including those living with dementia. Captures information from call-in and walk-in prospects and forward it promptly to the Marketing team. Support emergency preparedness efforts and communication during incidents and emergencies.
