Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week at a single school site, you’ll enjoy the stability and consistency to build strong relationships and witness student growth first-hand.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification, N-12 or 7-12 required
- Additional certifications in High School Algebra and/or Science highly preferred
- Previous experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Skilled in collaborative classroom environments, particularly in co-teaching models
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group instruction in a Learning Support classroom
- Collaborate with general education teachers through co-teaching assignments during periods throughout the school day
- Design and adapt lesson plans to accommodate a wide range of learning styles and needs for students in the assigned caseload
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records in alignment with IEP goals
- Support school initiatives aimed at inclusion and academic achievement for all learners
- Foster a positive, motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
