Utility/Water/Wastewater Engineer

Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as a Utility/Water/Wastewater Engineer in our Raleigh, NC, Myrtle Beach, SC, North Charleston, SC, or Lexington, SC office locations. Responsibilities include: Assisting with the design of water/wastewater and other civil engineering projects Evaluating and analyzing existing projects Coordinating with multiple utility owners, SCDOT, NCDOT, municipalities and regulatory agencies Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects Preparing design computations and quantity estimates Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department A valid driver's license and some travel will be required. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering or similar discipline from an accredited college or university At least 2 years of relevant design experience The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation software experience 2+ years of relevant experience Utility coordination/relocation design experience Municipal/Water Resources engineering experience EIT certification Why Mead & Hunt?
