Supply Chain Planner

Supply Chain PlannerOur client, a Consumer Products And Software Services company, is looking for a Supply Chain Planner for their Sunnyvale, CA/Hybrid location.Responsibilities:Analyze forecasted demand, inventory, develop weekly supply plans that meet customer demands. Results should meet Client target of fill rate, while minimizing total inventory costExecute weekly plans optimally to minimize future gaps and maximize inventory turnsAnalyze and set system parameters to optimize inventory and meet service level goals and minimize costsMaintain and update ERP master data for planning parts at various plants. Also responsible to initiate Engineering Change requests based on material life cycleAnalyze and resolve product backlogs, fill rates on a daily basis. Identify problem areas and drive appropriate functional groups to correct.Work closely with cross functional teams such as finished goods planning and factory operations teams to ensure sufficient capacities and materials to meet supply requirementsAttend weekly conference calls with Europe and Asia-Pacific teams to sync on supply-demand matching regionally and globallyPublish weekly factory forecast, ensure deltas and gaps are clearly communicated and bridgedIdentify opportunities for system enhancement and work with key business stakeholders and IT to implement continuous system improvementsRequirements:Manager is okay with exploring candidates that have experience outside of the industry. Examples include Retail Planning or Retail Merchandising Planning experienceStrong analytical skills combined with business acumen to make operational decisions on the flyEffective collaboration and communication approach to influence peers and executive managementExcellent knowledge and demonstrated expertise in supply chain management concepts: forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimizationExperience with ERP planning solutions such as SAP, Oracle, etc.APICS certification preferredMinimum Bachelor's Degree with a focus in business, supply chain management, mathematics, engineering, or logisticsMBA or Master's Degree in supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering preferredMinimum 3 years of forecasting, planning, purchasing, inventory or related experienceProven track record in delivering on operational KPI's, while managing projects and initiativesExperience in electronic product service supply chain a strong plusExperience with forward supply chainWhy Should You Apply?Health BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
