Overview Job Summary: Geisinger is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in Danville, PA. Responsibilities Schedule rotate between Peds ID physicians Clinic hours: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes outpatient, inpatient rounding, and Peds ID consults) Outpatient clinics: rotate among Peds ID physicians Call coverage: Peds ID physicians and CHOP Peds ID Limited O/N call coverage (5 Weekday o/n) and weekend coverage (1 weekend per month) O/N calls are light; all are phone-call only Pediatric ID is a consultative service One physician partner with a collaboration with Pediatric Specialties Nurse coordinator helps to manage Epic in Basket and referrals AI dictation Telemedicine available Affiliation with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Facility and Staffing Details 41 bed NICU 14 bed PICU 36 beds Children’s 2 and Children’s 3 Pediatric psychologist, nutritional support, pharmacy support, care management support, Peds ID social worker Qualifications Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine – (Required) Licensure: Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Pennsylvania Affiliations and Benefits Affiliation with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
