Senior Asset Management Officer – City of Perth Full-time, Permanent – CBD Location – Salary: $125,955 – $133,450 + superannuation. Overview As the Senior Asset Management Officer, you will play a key role in developing and managing the City’s Asset Information System, supporting an infrastructure asset portfolio valued at approximately $1.26 billion. You will provide specialist advice on asset ownership, risk, liabilities and asset management practices, while ensuring critical asset data is accurately captured and integrated across corporate systems and GIS platforms. Responsibilities Lead the collection, maintenance and reporting of asset management data across the City’s infrastructure and building assets. Provide specialist advice regarding asset ownership, liabilities, valuation and asset management practices. Collaborate with internal project teams and external stakeholders to ensure asset data standards and handover requirements are met. Support strategic asset planning through reporting, system improvements and long‑term financial management initiatives. About You Experience applying asset management practices within local government or a similar environment. Experience using asset management systems, GIS platforms and analysing asset data. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to improve business processes and systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non‑technical audiences. Eligibility A right to work in Australia (e.g., a birth certificate, current passport or current visa). A satisfactory National Police Clearance dated within 3 months.
