Accountant Department:Accounting ReportsTo:SeniorAccountant FLSAStatus:Exempt PositionSummary TheStaffAccountantisresponsibleforsupportingaccountingoperationsthroughownershipofkeycomponentsofthemonthlycloseprocess,accountreconciliations,financialreporting,andgeneralledgeractivity.Thisroleworkscloselywithothermembersoftheaccountingandoperationsteamtoensureaccurateandtimelyfinancialreportingacrossmultipleentitiesandsystems. Responsibilities GeneralLedger&Month-EndClose Ownandsupportcomponentsofthemonthlycloseprocesstoensuretimelyandaccuratefinancialreporting. Prepareworkpapersandjournalentriesformonthendclose. Prepareprepaid&accrualworkpapers,posttoERP. SignoffonrequiredtasksinFloQast. Prepareamonthly&quarterlyProfitandLossStatementsandBalanceSheets. Providefinancialstatementsforconsolidationpurposes. PrepareeliminationentriesforSeniorreview. Performvarianceanalysisofvariousbalancesheetandincomestatementaccounts. Reconciliations&CashManagement Performdailyreconciliationsofbankaccounts. Performweeklyreconciliationsofcreditcardaccounts. Preparemonthlybankandcreditcardreconciliationworkpapers. PostcashtoSage&Procore. WorkwithBilling&A/PteamtoconfirmallitemsarepostedinERPsystem. FixedAssetandAuditSupport Providesaccountingforfixedassetrelatedactivitytoincludeassetadditions,retirements,depreciation,costofremoval,andsalvage. Assistinannualfinancialstatementaudit. Supportaccountingcomplianceandinternalcontrolinitiatives. AdditionalResponsibilities Completeotherad-hocrequests,reportingandschedulesforteam. Continuouslyidentifyopportunitiesforprocessimprovementsandefficiencieswithinaccountingworkflows. Maintainconfidentialityoffinancialandcompanyinformation Qualifications Bachelor’sDegreeinAccountingorFinance(CPADesignationpreferred)froma4-yearcollege/university. Two+yearsofrelatedGL&Accountingexperienceand/ortraining;orequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.
