About The Role The HR Business Partner in the healthcare sector plays a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with the organization's overall business objectives to enhance workforce performance and patient care outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, labor laws, and compliance requirements in the United States. Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development within healthcare. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline. Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR. Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare‑specific HRIS platforms. Demonstrated success in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in healthcare settings. Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare quality improvement methodologies. Responsibilities Partner with healthcare leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support clinical and operational goals. Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution tailored to healthcare settings. Lead workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts to meet the specialized staffing needs of healthcare departments. Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, and process improvements within healthcare facilities. Ensure compliance with healthcare labor laws, accreditation standards, and internal policies through proactive HR practices. Facilitate training and development programs focused on leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement. Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to inform decision‑making and improve employee satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to design competitive packages that attract and retain healthcare professionals. Skills The HR Business Partner utilizes healthcare expertise daily to tailor HR strategies that address the unique challenges of clinical and administrative staff.
