Entry Level Landscape Architect

Job Description Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Landscape Architect to join our Site/Civil Department in our Charlotte, NC office to work on a variety of projects for clients within the private and public municipal sector. Typical projects involve site/civil design for commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects, water and wastewater, and roadways. Responsibilities Perform zoning code research, site feasibility and due diligence studies. Assist with preparation of rezoning and conditional use plans. Prepare site construction plans including site design, grading design and storm drainage design, erosion and sediment control design, landscape plans, and associated details. Preparation of associated calculations, and reports. Prepare renders for presentations. Candidate must have excellent hand drawing skills, but also be familiar with digital technologies/techniques such as Adobe Photoshop. Experience with Rhino and D5 is a plus, but not required. Working on multidisciplinary design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans. May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting. Required Skills & Required Experience Bachelors in Landscape Architecture is required at a minimum. Previous internship experience is desired. Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft office is required. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, GIS/ArcView and Power Point. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Don’t meet every single requirement?
