Job Description Dewberry is currently seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Charlotte, NC office to work on a variety of projects for public and private clients. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, mixed-use, commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects. Responsibilities Prepare site construction documents for public and private projects, including parks and recreation, education, commercial/retail and single family. Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Exception applications. Assist with conducting public meetings and workshops. Site/civil development including construction site plans, grading design, storm water management systems design, landscaping, erosion and sediment control design, and construction details using Civil 3D. Familarity with storm water design a plus but not required. May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinatepermitting. Required Skills & Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning. 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture. Registered Landscape Architect preferred but not required. Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, GIS/ArcView and Power Point. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview. Don’t meet every single requirement?
