Extended Job Title Ob/Gyn Unit Manager Odessa Position Description Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes, and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies, and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff. Major/Essential Functions Staff management: Hiring, training, mentoring and performing evaluations for clinical staff (Patient Services Staff). Operational oversight: managing day-to-day operations, optimizing patient flow, and implementing standard operating procedures. Quality and compliance: ensuring adherence to regulatory standards (state, federal) to include HIPAA compliance. Financial compliance: managing departmental budgets, monitoring expenses, and controlling costs. Clinical workflow: Enhance optimization of clinical workflow and scheduling. Patient advocate. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish Prior experience managing clinical office Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Three (3) years of supervisory experience OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years. Job Details Travel Required: Up to 25% Pay Grade Maximum: $5,833.33 Pay Grade Minimum: $4,333.33 Pay Basis: Monthly Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm Work Location: Odessa Shift: Day Occasional Duties Other duties as assigned.
