Currently, we have an Escrow Assistant opportunity with a trusted leader in the title and escrow industry, known for its stability, innovative solutions, and commitment to exceptional customer service. The Escrow Assistant will be responsible for below specific duties:

• Prepares HUD statements disclosing title/settlement fees, taxes, and payoffs for closing costs and sends to processor (may include mock CD).
• Reviews title commitments to verify vesting and legal descriptions under supervision of Escrow Officer/Lead.
• Draws loan documents including escrow/settlement instructions, payoffs, deeds, and schedules notary or attorney as required.
• Reviews executed documents returned from notary and uploads scanned packages into the system.
• Reviews recording documents ensuring all originals, affidavits, death certificates, and required documents are included.
• Assists with auditing final numbers, verifying demands, liens validity, and wire instructions.
• Tracks lender funding to ensure funds are received and ready for disbursement.
• Coordinates with Audit/Disbursing Department for file disbursement.
• Sends notification to clients once funds are disbursed.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years of escrow or related experience.
• Knowledge of escrow processes, title commitments, and closing procedures.
• Ability to review and manage legal and financial documents accurately.

Pay Rate Range: $26.36 - $28.39 per hour Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
