Charleston, South Carolina | Full-Time | Relocation Assistance Available | Salary | Exempt | $225,000 - $280,000 + benefits

This mid-level Commercial Real Estate Associate role is ideal for an attorney seeking greater autonomy, sophisticated deal flow, and a collaborative environment that values strategic thinking. You will work closely with developers, lenders, investors, and institutional clients on high-impact transactions across acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development. • Represent clients in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing , and development transactions
• Counsel developers, investors, and lenders on real estate secured financings, joint ventures, and governance
• Draft, negotiate, and revise agreements for diverse commercial real estate matters
• Advise clients on zoning appeals, property tax assessments, workforce housing agreements, and entitlement issues
• Manage and close complex transactions with minimal supervision
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deal execution

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the South Carolina Bar (or eligibility for admission)
• Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate experience
• Strong expertise in real estate finance, zoning, entitlement, and land use
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions independently
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills

• Experience representing developers, lenders, and institutional clients
• Background negotiating joint ventures and structured real estate deals
• Prior work with large-scale development or mixed‑use projects
