MESF Project Officer

D2 Government Solutions is seeking a Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) Project Manager to support the Force Generation Professional Support Services requirement for Maritime Expeditionary Security Group ONE (MESG ONE) . This is a position is contingent based on contract award supporting curriculum development, training oversight, and program development for the MESG ONE N7 Department. Location & Work Schedule Primary Work Location: MESG ONE, NOLF-IB, Imperial Beach, CA Travel: CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between the contractor team, Contracting Officer (KO), and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) Coordinate daily operations, performance management, and issue resolution Facilitate communication between government and contractor personnel Ensure project coverage and continuity of operations during standard working hours Conduct and document meetings; submit written minutes within two (2) business days Verify and maintain personnel certifications and qualifications Support MESG ONE N7 mission objectives, including: Curriculum development Training program management Exercise planning Force development initiatives Learning standards implementation Minimum Qualifications Active SECRET clearance (required at time of application) Minimum 3 years of project management experience within the past 5 years (contractor environment preferred) Minimum 3 years of recent MESF experience (military or contractor within past 5 years) Experience in at least two (2) MESF Objective Areas (1–5) Minimum 15 years of Navy expeditionary operational, training, or readiness experience Prior leadership experience as one of the following: Commanding Officer Officer in Charge CVN Department Head Senior-level Administrator Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior leadership Experience with AI tools in government or civilian environments highly desired Security Requirements Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) Must comply with all Navy security policies and complete required training (e.g., Navy e-Learning) Employment Conditions This position is contingent upon contract award and subject to government approval of key personnel .
