Digital Product Manager

Digital Product Manager – Hartford, CT Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects for digital product development. Collaborate on the value proposition, strategic initiatives, roadmap, and target market. Work with the Business Product Manager to map out initiatives and create Minimum Viable Product features that deliver value and ROI. Streamline execution of team priorities while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity. Continuously refine the program backlog and facilitate decision‑making on stories, bug fixes, and technical debt as they move through stages in the team Rally board. Partner with business teams to decompose large initiatives into incremental, value‑driven features. Monitor feature implementation and collaborate with software product owners and agile teams to review business needs, refine priorities, outline deliverables, and address dependencies, opportunities and risk. Resolve questions and support product owner teams during user story creation and refinement. Facilitate requirements definition and resolve impediments. Provide feedback on architecture recommendations to ensure the development team fully understands the user story functionality. Act as subject‑matter expertise to explain digital product vision and user stories to the team. Liaise with the Business Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Initiative Owner and Solution Architect to clarify requirements. Telecommuting is available. Multiple positions. Requirements Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Oracle, Redis, or Cassandra database; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; SQL, MySQL or NoSQL; Software development lifecycle (SDLC); Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Domain support for healthcare or retail organization; Web and mobile applications development; Relational database concepts; Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes; Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases; Developing data and analytics–based platform capabilities, services, or products; Healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy.
