Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology

Registered Nurse – BMT

Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30).

Rotating contract with potential scheduling for days, nights, or a combination depending on department needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year in Medical-Surgical and inpatient hematology oncology.
• Chemotherapy certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• EPIC experience required.
• Skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and chemotherapy administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for those undergoing autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage blood product transfusions.
• Monitor patients for any clinical changes and respond to emergencies.
• Manage central lines, peripheral lines, and provide related care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
