Qualifications: Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred. Must enjoy working with children. Must be considered highly qualified in the state of PA by completing at least one of the listed requirements below. a. Have completed at least 2 years of post-secondary study (48 credits) or b. Possess an associated degree or higher or c. Meet a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a State or local assessment (Paraeducator Credential of Competence). - If you do not meet these requirements but are interested in obtaining the Paraeducator Credential, please review information here. Description: The Instructional Assistant fills a critical role in implementing and serving students with disabilities under the direction of the special education teacher and principal. The position will work supporting students with special needs duringDrama activities before or after school/weekends during the school year.
