Location: Panama City, FL Employment Type: Full-Time (Onsite) Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-11:30 AM Setting: Outpatient Private Practice
Job Description: We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join an established physician-led private practice in Panama City, FL. This is a long-term opportunity offering clinical autonomy, an established patient base, strong earning potential, and excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic rheumatologic conditions
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust therapies as needed
- Participate in outpatient infusion services as appropriate
- Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, and disease management
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Rheumatology fellowship
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Rheumatology
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Medicare provider enrollment/eligibility
- New fellowship graduates are welcome
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to the Panama City area long term
