The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for the patients they oversee. This includes the assessment and analysis of the patient’s skills and challenging behaviors, development of treatment plans, overseeing implementation, collaboration with and training of caregivers, and ongoing coaching of behavioral technicians. Treatment plans are primarily designed to address areas of medical necessity and may occur in a variety of settings including the CARD center, the patient’s home, school, community, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager. This is a salaried, exempt, full‑time position.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develop and maintain treatment plans Ensure all supervision hours meet 100% treatment adherence each month Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyze challenging behaviors to identify function and develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce them Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of protocols Direct behavior technicians in the implementation of new or revised protocols Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Primarily work physically within the center to support technicians and follow best practices of direct observation Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress toward goals and adjust protocols based on data Update treatment plans at least once per month based on patient response Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month, inclusive of supervisory and therapy hours Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinate care with other professionals Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments Include caregiver as part of the treatment team, evidenced by consistent caregiver collaboration meetings Interact with payers collaboratively, professionally, thoroughly, and informatively Engage with payers as needed for funding meetings (IEP, peer reviews) Stay up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence Maintain appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times Partner consistently and effectively with center leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator, Technician Leads) Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Empathetic and compassionate with strict confidentiality Collaborative, solution‑focused team player Independent problem‑solving with clinical judgment Effective verbal and written communication Excellent time‑management in a fast‑paced, changing environment Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook; learns new systems quickly; familiarity with iPads Desire to continuously learn and develop skill sets Willingness to work in various locations (center, patient home, etc.) Willingness to work with a variety of patients Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Must pass tuberculosis test Proficient in English, both written and verbalWORK ENVIRONMENT
Treatment may occur in a variety of settings including the patient’s home, CARD center, school, community, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors work indoors and outdoors and may move between locations throughout the workday. Treatment environments may involve loud or excessive noise at times.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work with patients seated on the floor, in small chairs, or in various settings Move frequently throughout the therapeutic setting to gather materials, anticipate and respond to patient movement, and provide instruction in diverse settings (school, playground, clinic, community) Constantly position oneself to respond to patient movements and behaviors (bending, kneeling, crouching, hurrying, reaching) Use continuous visual tracking to monitor patient movement and surrounding environment Occasionally evade or block aggressive behaviors; occasionally bear weight of a patient Teach patients to use vocal speech; articulate sound and model speaking clearly; listen and shape patient vocal communication Occasionally model gross motor skills (climbing, jumping) and fine motor skills (clapping, opening a container) Work in indoor and outdoor settings including various weather conditions (community skills, recess) Lift up to 30 lbs while assisting patients #J-18808-Ljbffr Dormont Manufacturing CoVacancy posted 2 days ago
