Position Overview

Location: Harmans, MD

Schedule: Day shift, flexible start time (Schedule remains flexible after permanent hire)

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Employment Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking an entry-level Medical Device Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Harmans, MD. Key Responsibilities

• Device Repair & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical medical devices, including assembling and disassembling equipment down to the component level.
• Time Management: Achieve daily production goals by completing repairs efficiently within established time objectives of approximately 2.5 hours per device.
• Quality Assurance: Perform regular testing, quality control (QC) checks, and functional inspections on a variety of devices.
• Documentation: Complete detailed, accurate, and legible service reports to describe the repairs and maintenance performed.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain positive and helpful communication with coworkers and customers to resolve technical issues effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Haves:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Ability to work quickly and confidently to meet established time benchmarks.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Prior experience specifically working with medical equipment is a significant plus.
• Hands-on soldering experience (training can be provided if you do not have prior experience).
• Technical certification or an AA degree in a technical field.
