Pain Management Physician

Position Overview
We are seeking a locum Pain Management & Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to provide inpatient coverage beginning approximately April 1 in New Orleans, Louisiana . This is a low-intensity rounding role with light call responsibilities and a flexible schedule.

Assignment Details

Start Date: April 1
Licensure: Louisiana license not required to present (can be obtained after acceptance)
Schedule: Flexible blocks available
Call: 24-hour call coverage with very minimal callback
Weekday Rounding: 4 6 hours/day
Weekend Rounding: 2 3 hours/day
Setting: Inpatient consultative pain management & rehabilitation
EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

Inpatient pain management and rehab consults
Medication management and treatment planning
Collaboration with hospitalists, specialists, and therapy teams
Occasional call coverage (primarily phone availability)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, PM&R, or related specialty
Comfortable with inpatient consultative care
