Program Overview The post‑doctoral fellowship (2026–2027) focuses on training competent clinical psychologists to provide evidence‑based therapeutic interventions in an outpatient setting. Fellows will receive broad training in evidence‑based clinical interventions to a diverse patient population, along with didactics, clinical supervision with staff, and group consultation meetings. Eligibility Applicants must be post‑masters holders from an APA‑approved graduate program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in a permanent staff position following completion of the one‑year fellowship. Training Tracks Therapy – Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapy – Adult Therapy – Generalist Integrated Care (IBH) Integrated Care (IBH) Description Provide consultation to providers, brief assessment, evidence‑based intervention, and triage to other LifeStance departments or community resources. Learn about the model of integrated primary care and how to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team. Work in a fast‑paced environment, think quickly, communicate clinical information efficiently, and manage a wide range of clinical presentations. Training Opportunities / Components Providing evidence‑based treatment (CBT, health psychology/behavioral medicine, biofeedback & stress management, traditional psychodynamic models, tele‑psychology) for a variety of disorders, including brief‑treatment models, individual and family modalities, and group therapy interventions. Didactics. Individual supervision. Weekly group supervision. Consult groups for specific specialty areas (health psychology, couples work, child & family therapy, geriatric psychology, trauma‑focused work, eating disorders, young child rounds). Supervision Fellows will receive weekly individual supervision and participate in weekly group case consultation meetings and rounds. Risk management consultation will be provided as needed. Prerequisites Must have earned a doctorate in psychology from an accredited program and completed an APA‑accredited internship. All doctoral requirements must be expected to be completed before the fellowship start date. Expectations Fellows typically work Monday through Friday, 40‑hour weeks. The schedule may include up to two evenings per week. Fellows are expected to average 25 patient contact hours per week. Fellows will be expected to apply for licensure and take exams (EPPP and Massachusetts state exam) as soon as eligible. Benefits Stipend of $58,000 per year.
